(Macbeth and I meeting the three Weird Sisters)
Today was different, a day that I can not conjure. It all started when Macbeth and I stumbled upon three women in strange and wild attire, resembling creature of elder world (I.iii.39-40). Everything seemed strange these three women were speaking nonsense. They began to speak stating that Macbeth was to become the Thane of Cawdor and the King of Scotland hereafter. Macbeth kept asking questions while I stood their in confusion. What is happening? Who are these three weird sisters? Why aren’t they telling me anything? Soon after they told me that my descendents would be king (I.iii.66-67)! You would think I would have been overjoyed to hear this news but I know these women are up to no good. I had no time to beg for their favours nor did I fear their hate. While I was trying to put together what just happened they vanished. Proof gone. It was all strange what had just happened but what happened after that is something I just can not explain. Ross and Angus showed up and told Macbeth that he was the new Thane of Cawdor (I.iii.104-107)! The three sisters were right. Both Macbeth and I were shocked. Could the three sisters have known this before us and just be playing with our heads? Or are they indeed creatures of the supernatural and seen all this coming? All I could think of was if these sister were right about Macbeth were they going to be right about me?
